Activities to Teach About Resolving Ethical Dilemmas

Activity 5.4: Reflection About Experience With Dilemmas (Intermediate)

Have participants think of and then write about or discuss their experience with a dilemma—a situation that involves two justifiable resolutions.

Reflection: Have you ever been in a situation in which you had to choose between two alternatives that both could be justified? What were the competing interests? How did you respond? How did you think through what was the right thing to do? (Feeney, Freeman, & Pizzolongo 2012, 29)
